THE RARE PIECES OF LE SHOP 17
Some pieces never arrive in a run. They come into the boutique in a single size, in a single colour, sometimes as a single example. Once it leaves, the piece does not come back.
These are usually buying decisions made on instinct: a leather jacket spotted in a showroom, a silk shirt seen on a hanger, a candle poured by hand in a Saint-Tropez workshop. Nothing calculated, just the obvious choice.
We have gathered them here, eight houses, eight pieces. A wardrobe of rarities you will not pass in the street.
Le Shop 17 does not buy by volume. Each season, part of the budget is set aside for these isolated pieces that we never take in depth: one model, one size, one colour. It is a risky way of working, but it is the one that gives the boutique its character.
These purchases are decided quickly. A Lebanese house discovered in a Paris showroom, a Saint-Tropez candle whose scent takes over the moment the box is opened, an Italian trouser that falls perfectly at the very first fitting. We take the piece, once, and let it find its owner.
Here are the eight houses that make up this wardrobe of one-off pieces today, each represented by a single piece in store.
SEVEN
Seven works leather like an atelier piece. The jacket we selected is made entirely of leather, in a suede with a velvety texture and a thick, sturdy structure. Its utility cut, slightly squared, holds the silhouette without adding unnecessary volume.
LARA CHAMANDI
Lara Chamandi launched her luxury house in 2021. Born and raised in Abu Dhabi, of Lebanese heritage from the Chouf mountains, she studied architecture and furniture design in London before turning to clothing. Her collections draw on art, nature and music, with a commitment to responsible making.
MOSCHINO
Founded in Milan in 1983 by Franco Moschino, the house became known for its witty designs, its nods to pop art and its ironic look at fashion itself. The printed slogan remains its most recognisable signature.
MAISON ST
Maison ST makes its candles in Saint-Tropez, in the workshop below the boutique at 12 rue de la Ponche. Vegetable wax, natural cotton wicks, custom designed glassware: the fragrances come from the workshops of Grasse and the alcohols are natural beet alcohols. Each reference tells the story of a place in the gulf.

OUD PARIS
OUD is a French luxury ready-to-wear house founded by Patricia Bitton and Raphaël Riv. Its proposition rests on one simple idea: a modern elegance that works just as well at the office as after dark. Silks, wools and chiffons are cut into clean shapes.
MASON'S
Born in Tuscany in 1974, Mason's built its reputation on trousers. The house pairs Italian tailoring with continuous research into materials and treatments, favouring essential, long-lasting pieces over seasonal effect.
IRO
IRO opened its first boutique in Saint-Germain in 2006 and has since defended a Parisian wardrobe shot through with vintage rock influences. The house happily mixes leather and prints, fitted cuts and loose silhouettes, for women who follow their own style ahead of trends.
LE SHOP 17
The last piece in this selection does not come from a visiting house: it carries the name of the boutique. Le Shop 17 is also its own label, and this silver bag with extra-large discs is signed under that name. Plastic and brass, with an adjustable chain shoulder strap.

These one-off pieces can be seen and tried on at Le Shop 17, at 15 rue Notre-Dame, 06400 Cannes, a few minutes on foot from la Croisette and at the foot of le Suquet.
