MIPCOM returns to Cannes

Every autumn, the Palais des Festivals becomes the center of the television world: producers, broadcasters, streaming platforms and studios gather here to buy, sell and finance the series, films and shows that will reach our screens tomorrow.

Founded in 1985, MIPCOM holds its 42nd edition in 2026 and turns Cannes, for four days, into the global capital of audiovisual content.

Just steps from the Palais, on rue Notre-Dame, Le Shop 17 welcomes show attendees between meetings. Here is what to know about MIPCOM, and why the boutique is a natural stop during the week.

The world's leading content market

MIPCOM describes itself as the world's largest market for the global content business. The 2026 edition runs from Monday, October 12 to Thursday, October 15, at the Palais des Festivals, on the Croisette.

According to the organizers, the show brings together more than 10,600 attendees from over 110 countries, including more than 3,300 buyers and 1,500 exhibitors. Deals cover the creation, co-production, acquisition, sale, financing and distribution of content for every screen: television, streaming, cinema and mobile.

Three highlights shape the 2026 program: the Creator Economy, partnerships between brands and entertainment with MIP BrandWorks, and the MIP AI Entertainment Forum, dedicated to artificial intelligence across content creation, production and distribution.

For four days, Cannes moves to the rhythm of business meetings, screenings and networking evenings, from the Croisette to the terraces of the Suquet.

Le Shop 17, a few minutes from the Palais

For delegations staying in Cannes for the show, Le Shop 17 offers a welcome escape a few minutes' walk from the stands: a multi-brand concept store tucked away on rue Notre-Dame, just steps from the Croisette. Between meetings or after a day of screenings, the boutique offers a wardrobe built for women moving between meetings, panels and business dinners.

The selection brings together French and international houses: the tailoring of DMN and Veronica Beard, the rock leather of Barbara Bui, the Parisian rock chic of IRO, the New York wardrobe of Alexander Wang, and Jérôme Dreyfuss bags that carry a day of meetings through to the evening cocktail. A team that knows the Croisette and its codes, ready to advise on a show outfit or a last-minute one.
