Autumn-winter 2026
Paul & Joe, La Vie Parisienne
The new Paul & Joe autumn-winter 2026 collection has just arrived at Le Shop 17. It is called La Vie Parisienne, and it lives up to its name: cashmere, hand embroidery, guipure lace and wool tailored in the house's Paris workshops.
After a summer of ramie prints, Sophie Mechaly's house changes season without changing its spirit. The detail still makes the piece, a jewel button here, an embroidered stitch there.
Seven new pieces have just arrived in store on rue Notre-Dame. Here they are.
If you are new to the house, its story, from its founding in 1995 to the names of its founder's two sons, is told in our article on Paul & Joe at Le Shop 17. Here, we focus on what has just come in.
A Belle Époque winter
For this autumn-winter, Paul & Joe draws on the Paris of the Belle Époque: Art Nouveau architecture, botanical gardens, the elegance of the grand boulevards. From it the house builds a wardrobe of beautiful materials, wool, silk, cashmere, jacquards and embroidery, in deep shades and exclusive prints.
The result is very Parisian, and yet perfect for a Cannes winter. Light knits for crisp mornings on the Croisette, embroidered pieces for dinners out, and essentials unlike any others.
The new pieces at Le Shop 17
Matou, the cat-button cardigan
The cat has always been the Paul & Joe emblem, and this time it slips into the buttons. Matou is a short-sleeved cardigan in wool and cashmere, in off white, fastened with gold jewel buttons shaped like cats. Wear it buttoned to the top, like a sweater, with wide-leg trousers.
Novelo, the cable-knit cardigan
A cable and pointelle knit in extra-fine merino and cashmere, covered buttons, in ecru. Novelo has the delicacy of an old-fashioned cardigan, but cut short and clean. In the house's own pictures it is worn with the Diamant skirt, and that is exactly the pairing we recommend.
Diamant, the guipure skirt
The couture piece of the selection. A pencil skirt in guipure lace, entirely hand-embroidered, midi length, lined, in cream cotton. It has the texture of a jewel and works as well with a fine sweater by day as with a silk shirt at night. Only one piece has arrived in store.
Florin, the trousers made in Paris
Florin is made in France, in Paul & Joe's Paris workshops. Straight, pleated, wide-leg trousers in 100% virgin wool twill, in cream. They fall impeccably and give any knit the look of a tailored suit.
Carat, the hand-embroidered shirt
Paul & Joe was born from a love of the shirt, and Carat is a reminder of it. Organic cotton check poplin, a relaxed cut, mother-of-pearl buttons hidden under the placket and embroidery done by hand. A shirt to tuck into jeans or let flow over wool trousers.
Roussillon, the sky blue cardigan
The classic of the selection, in a colour that lifts the winter. Roussillon is a cashmere blend cardigan with a round neck, mother-of-pearl buttons and two patch pockets. At Le Shop 17 it has arrived in sky blue.
Mario, the knitted polo
The lightest of the seven. Mario is a short-sleeved polo in cable and openwork knit, merino and cashmere, in ecru, with covered buttons. Ideal in Cannes, where winter often gives way to beautiful mild days.

How to wear them in Cannes this winter
For a congress at the Palais des Festivals, the Florin trousers with the Roussillon cardigan buttoned up make a sharp outfit, comfortable from 9am to 7pm, no jacket needed. For a festive dinner, the Novelo and Diamant pairing is all you need, add a pair of pumps and you are done. And for sunny December weekends, Mario or Matou over jeans, with a coat over the shoulders for the walk home after dark.
Every one of these pieces also makes a beautiful Christmas gift. The team can advise on sizing and gift-wrap your choice in store.
