The global summit for travel retail
TFWA (Tax Free World Association) has turned its Cannes event into the must-attend gathering for the duty free and travel retail industry. The 2026 edition runs from Sunday, September 27 to Thursday, October 1, at the Palais des Festivals, on the Croisette.
The show brings together international brands in fragrance, cosmetics, spirits, fashion and gastronomy alongside operators of airport, port and border stores who come to negotiate their future ranges. Alongside the exhibition floor: a dedicated conference program covering the industry's key trends, a ONE2ONE meeting service for arranging business appointments, and a day dedicated to travel retail start-ups, the TFWA Start Up Day.
For five days, hotels along the Croisette run full, Cannes' restaurants are at capacity, and the whole city moves to the rhythm of one of the Côte d'Azur's largest trade events.
Le Shop 17, an address two minutes from the Palais
For international delegations based in Cannes for the show, Le Shop 17 offers a welcome escape: a multi-brand concept store tucked away on rue Notre-Dame, in the Suquet, just a few minutes' walk from the stands and badge queues. The TFWA World Exhibition runs on professional badges only, but Le Shop 17 stays open to everyone, show visitors and Cannes regulars alike.
